The ESRM Student Organizing Committee (SOC) is a student-led group dedicated to strengthening community, engagement, and collaboration within the Environmental Science and Resource Management program. The committee serves as a bridge between students, faculty, and staff, creating opportunities for meaningful connections both inside and outside the classroom.
Through social events, outreach initiatives, and program-wide activities, the committee works to foster an inclusive and supportive environment where students can build relationships, develop skills, and contribute to the growth of the ESRM community. By bringing together students from diverse backgrounds and interests, the ESRM Student Organizing Committee helps cultivate a sense of belonging and promotes a collaborative culture that supports academic success, professional development, and community engagement.
Additional information about the Student Organizing Committee, including upcoming events, committee updates, and opportunities to get involved can be found on the ESRM Community Canvas Group. If you have access to this Canvas Group, check out the SOC module for all things SOC.
If you have any questions about the SOC or are interested in joining please feel free to email both contacts listed below.
